Crochet napkin rings...

As our homeplace is very young so it is our frist Easter and I don't have so much decoration yet for the table These all motivated me to try on my own sth what will make more elegance Easter table. I wanted too to use materials which I have already at home. As 4 people will be at the table I prepaired 4 crochet napkins rings. Rings are hooked by two kinds of green colour to have them different some and as the spring I am so much waiting to come. And what's more, I used to every of them 3 small crochet roses with 3 small pearls sewed inside every of them. The rings starts from an oval shape 4 times around and then the ring is going into the line which is connected with exactly oposite side of an oval.

Now even paper napkins can look elegance too ;)

I hope my family will like this idea, and how about you? ;)

Have a sunny day,

  3. I have made some placemats for my daughter's birthday and have been looking for a pretty pattern for napkin rings. Is there any way I can get a copy of your pattern for the beautiful roses napkin rings? It's exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks for your consideration and I hope to hear from you soon as I need to get these crocheted real soon.

  4. Dear Anniebugs, I am very glad you enjoy my napkin rings. I have no pattern of the schedule how I made it but I am going to try to explain how it is done. So you start making such a ring from a circle on which roses sit. At the very beginning you start with chain 4(count as 1st dc),20 dc in the 1st ch from the hook around, join with the 3rd ch of the first dc (1st round done), ch3, dc in the same stitch, *dc in the next stitch, 2dc in the next stitch* repeat ** around. And then you need to make more rounds while adding succesfully or not when it is not needed dcs to make circles bigger and bigger. I made 4 or 5 it depends on how biig the ring you need. Then you must choose two lines opposite each other to make a ring and to join the ring made from dc with exactly opposite place of the circle. Now you have the ring so it is just the case of decoration with whatever flower you just like. Description how I made roses you can find under the link:

I decorated sides of the circle in gold by some decorative line with picots it was a total improvisation. ;)
I hope I could help you some. It is really easy. Enjoy your hooking. Greetings from Hungary :)
